Yo, is this racist? Is this sexist, too? And reeking of Conservative “values”? I don’t know, you tell me:

“Child Trends found that a third of those with high school degrees or less already had children with multiple men. So did 12 percent of mothers with some post-high-school training. But none of the women in the study who had finished college before giving birth had children with multiple men.”

“Having men in the house for a short time with ambiguous parenting roles can be really disruptive for children.”

“But there are suggestions that the absence of a father in the house makes it harder for children to climb the economic ladder.”

This piece is nothing more than six pages of slut-shaming, rehashed garbage. It spends all its time backhandedly blaming single mothers for the decline of “American Values” while offering no guidance or suggestions on what our government can do to remedy the situation at hand. Little blame is brought upon the deadbeat fathers of single mothers; rather, it is the lack of education of the mother that is often implied as the catalyst for their childrens’ failures. Um, seriously?

I’m not sure if this was written with malicious intent, but it sure doesn’t read very female-positive.
