Despite my obvious feelings on JEFF’s bizarre new partnership/distro deal with Warner — this album is pretty rad. Suggested alternate title would be JEFF plays Weezer: THE HITS! — but I don’t mean that as an insult. Seriously, JEFF does the Blue/Pinkerton era Weezer shtick pretty well on We Are the Champions, and I wouldn’t be completely opposed to a Weezer+JEFF supertour.
